Nelson Map Pendant Necklace
Our Nelson map pendant necklace is an incredibly versatile piece of jewellery. Suitable for wearing on a date, a night out with the girls or to work, it is a lovely way of helping you remember this beautiful city. That’s because you’ll actually be able to carry a little part of it with you, as the pendant has a darling mini map of Nelson within it. We’ve positioned it perfectly within the nickel free 25mm pendant frame and covered it with a glass dome. You’ll be able to choose between a silver or a bronze plated pendant and each one will hang upon an 80cm ball chain. There is also a small solid metal heart on the chain too, symbolically showing that you keep this lovely city close to your heart.
Hand made in NZ, this necklace makes a great gift for friends and loved ones who have moved away from the region. It is also a great souvenir for yourself to keep after your visit, to help remind you of home or to share with your loved ones who were unable to see Nelson themselves.
Just thinking about Nelson gives many of us visions of delicious fresh cherries and plenty of white sand. Located on the eastern shores of Tasman Bay in top north-west of the South Island, Nelson is second oldest settled city in NZ. Famous for the Abel Tasman National Park, Nelson is not only a holiday destination for overseas tourists, but also many New Zealanders too. With a claim to fame of being the sunniest city in the country, Nelson has plenty of things to do for people of all ages.
For an outdoor adventure, take a multi-day tramp through the Able Tasman Park or hire a kayak to experience the magical white sand beaches, seals and dolphins which reside within in. Shoppers will delight in the Saturday morning market in the city centre, while fashion and art lovers will enjoy a trip to the World of Wearable Art and Classic Cars Museum. If they don’t tickle your fancy, perhaps you could head out on a wine trail or soak up the rays on one of the many beaches. You could even take a helicopter tour to visit the Abel Tasman site used in one of The Lord of the Rings movies.
To keep your Nelson map pendant looking as great as the day you got it, remember to remove it before entering water and to spray perfume on before putting your necklace on.
